Donating to Juxtapower

Through the use of an innovative South African Dance & Song performance and development-based mode, JUXTAPOWER brings the cultural/theatrical experience and diversity of South African art to the United States. JUXTAPOWER provides workshops to the minority of young people in the community and assist educational programs thru the exchange of performing arts activities. With your generous and kind sponsorship or donation, JUXTAPOWER can continue to sponsor community and experimental dance projects, develop leadership training and pursue volunteer initiatives that build the arts and culture, and strengthen community relations between the US and South Africa. The abject poverty and the lack of cultural art that characterize so many communities in South Africa are an immense challenge to the new democracy and an obstacle to the national goal of a peaceful and prosperous society for all. As in the past, the people of South Africa need support from friends and supporters in the international community to help bring about a positive overview of the country, which for many years has received an overwhelmingly negative press.

We thank you in advance…

JUXTAPOWER especially offers its sincerest gratitude to Dr. Felicia Mabuza Suttle (the former president of the South African Tourism Board), for the opportunities she afforded the production, and all her fair dealings with the company. She gave JUXTAPOWER very many platforms to perform, at some of the most prestigious events in the USA, and she is thanked and revered for her absolute kindness and respect for the artists.
